The Stonegate home is located on the Riverside Country Club Golf Course, close to Bozeman. We positioned the house to maximize the passive solar gain, as well as the view shed of the golf course and mountains beyond. The Stonegate home is a true expression of the splendor of wood with the many architectural details found inside and out. The exterior is a combination of Rock and Douglas Fir siding. The Douglas Fir comes from a local mill that cuts their own trees and mill a circle sawn product that gives the house a nice rustic feel. The interior trim package, the wood flooring and the cabinets throughout are all made from recycled wood.The recycled wood was milled from posts that came out of a building located in Roundup, Montana. These posts have aged approximately 80 years! Due to the stability of aged wood such as this, it allowed us to mill plank flooring that has an eleven-inch plus face. The plank flooring has a beautiful variation of colors that add to the unique aspect of this special floor. The grand entry door is also made of this recycled wood. There are many more custom details one must see in person. This home is truly another fine example of the quality craftsmanship and old world touches for which Click's Construction, Inc. is known.
